WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Benalfa Cars (proprietor Alan Bennett) is a small family run business that offers servicing and restoration for all Alfa Romeo models at competitive prices and has done so for over 35 years. We welcome all Alfa owners, old and new, whatever your budget and, unlike other "specialists", we only specialise in Alfa Romeo and have genuine Alfa Romeo experience. Alan is personally involved in the workshop and is personally responsible for your car. Unlike other "specialists", he does not sit in an office!

Benalfa Cars is a name you can trust in the classic and performance car specialist market, a market that has unfortunately become quite a minefield. We have customers from all over the UK and the world. Indeed, Alan is the recipient of a long service achievement award from the Alfa Romeo Owners Club, of which he is justifiably proud. The Club magazine ran a feature about us in February 2008. We have also been featured as Alfa Romeo experts on SKY TV in a series called The Classic Car Club on Discovery Realtime.

We are well known throughout the UK for servicing, overhauls and restoration of all models. We also prepare Alfas for rallying/racing and track days. In addition to mechanical and bodywork, we are able to offer second hand parts and are currently recycling many models. Just let us know what you are after and we will do our best to help you.

Alan is also sought after for pre-purchase inspection, so if you think you have found the perfect Alfa for you (ebay included!) let Alan see it first and he will give his professional opinion as to its suitability. He does not do lengthy AA reports! He will just "tell it like it is" as an Alfa expert. Although naturally he will put his comments in writing, if required.

We hope that you will find all you need to know here. We have not gone in for too many gimmicks or too much chat because, at the end of the day, we are Alfa Romeo specialists not computer whizzkids or pushy salesmen!

ABOUT ALAN

Alan Bennett created Benalfa Cars in 1974. He had previously worked at Rob Walker's prestigious Corsley Garage in Wiltshire since 1966 (ultimately as the top Alfa Romeo in-house mechanic), so he has dedicated his entire working life to the marque.

Alan is personally involved in all work undertaken - he far prefers to be in the workshop than in an office! Nevertheless, he is always available to discuss your particular problem or needs, however large or small, and with 40 years experience there is not a lot that he doesn't know about Alfa Romeos! Alan alone oversees the workshop for all service work, overhauls and restoration.


WHERE WE ARE AND HOW TO GET IN TOUCH

You can find us in Westbury, Wiltshire. We are on the West Wilts Trading Estate in Washington Road. Westbury is easily reached from the M3 or M4 and we have main line connection between Westbury station and Paddington. Although, being a relatively small company, we cannot offer a loan car, we are always happy to take customers to and pick them up from the nearby railway station or town centre, if required. Alternatively, collection and/or delivery of your vehicle are no problem at all at a competitive rate.
